The Power of One 2012 is still looking for programs to be presented at this year's conference! The final deadline for Program submission is March 15th 2012.

Please include the following information:

  • Title of Presentation
  • Intended theme
  • Learning Outcomes
  • Abstract
  • Outline

The NASPA Region V Power of One Introduce
a Speaker Contest!

Attention undergraduate students! You can participate in a contest to introduce one of the Power of One 2012 Conference featured speakers by submitting a video! This video should showcase your creative nature and discuss how you believe leaders in the LGBTQQIA campus community can begin to break down the barriers that may prevent thoughtful awareness. This year’s speakers are Dr. Andrew Jolivette and D’Lo.

Upload your video to YouTube, and email the URL to OSUPowerofOne@gmail.com. The deadline for submissions is Monday, February 27th, 2012 at 5pm (PST). After the review of the submissions, winners will be notified and assigned a speaker.

Please note that those selected are not compensated, and are expected to register and attend the Power of One 2012 at Oregon State University.

Empathy is a fundamental part of understanding. But how do you break barriers on campus which may prevent thoughtful awareness?

This year's NASPA Power of One conference is looking for program submissions which address issues of Ally Development, Gender, Social Justice, Leadership, Creative Arts, and other issues which pertain to Advisors, Administrators, Students, and Professionals in the area of LGBTQQIA.
